Custom built with local East Texas woods—cypress, cedar, white & red oak, and pine—this rustic-modern cabin is full of charm. Enjoy the shared cold plunge pool and community hot tub on the Lake Cabin Escapes property, plus peaceful nature, birds, and wildlife. Look for the Bald Eagle or stargaze by the Fire Pit!
Cable TV and ground internet are not available here in the woods. We have limited jetpack WiFI for use.

Trails to Lake Palestine, it is a natural shoreline, no beach area and swimming and fishing are at your own risk. We have a couple of natural ponds on the property and an Artesian Outdoor Cold plunge pool for a refreshing 70 degree col water soak! Guests are welcome to explore the pond area, get in the cold water outdoor Plunge Pool, but we ask that you do not fish from the ponds at this time, we are still developing this area!
The shared hot tub is for our adult guests of 2 cabins!
Disc Golf Course on the property for all guests to enjoy. Bring your own Disc!
Our cabins are built for exploring the outdoors, not the best place for indoor movie watchers:) limited internet availability
So come sit on the front porch and enjoy the view or build a campfire and enjoy the stars!!
We are available by phone or text anytime. We do live nearby and are available if needed, but we do respect the privacy of our guests. We may occasionally be seen farming, walking, or out working on the landscape:) we have 5 cabins total, you may see other guests on the property, but each cabin has its own secluded porch, fire pit area and separate drive. Each space is very private.
The hot tub is shared among 2 cabins. It is centrally located in a wooded area, great outdoor spot to sit in the hot tub and star gaze!
Secluded area on Lake Palestine. The Tyler lift station is nearby and can be heard with a steady water flow sound. Brookshires Grocery store is 1 mile away.. a few fast food places are nearby. The Villages Marina is 4 miles away. It is about a 20 minute drive into Tyler for restaurants and shopping! We are in the woods, but close to Tyler, Texas! There are several cute rural towns nearby with some local wineries and antique shopping to explore also!

You are welcome to explore the trails around the property and walk down to the lake. PLEASE use only the designated drive for your cabin at all times, for the safety and privacy of each guest. We are about 15 minutes into Tyler for all types of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and a few local wineries are out in the rural areas!
We are 15 minutes from Tyler, but the Cabin is in the woods and Nature is all around, this includes insects, critters of all kinds including snakes, all types of birds including Bald Eagles, roadrunners and songbirds! Be cautious of poison ivy and insects when out exploring!
There is a wild beehive near this cabin, it comes and goes, most active in the Spring. They don’t bother you if you don’t bother them, and we have the area clearly marked! Chiggers are out in the tall grass by May 15th throughout the summer. Advised to use insect repellent when exploring.
