Lakeview Suite in Modern Farmhouse

The Modern Farmhouse Lakeview Suite is a newly remodeled suite on a farm with stunning lake views and other amenities. It provides a serene retreat where you’ll find a comfortable king-size bed w/plush carpeting, creating a cozy space. The suite also features a stylish interior w/futon, a workstation with desk, a coffee station with microwave, and an updated bathroom boasting a tiled shower, toilet, and barn door.

The location provides stunning lakeviews, land, ponds, cold plunge, & disc golf.

This is an upstairs bedroom with private bathroom in our Farmhouse.
We live downstairs, the 2 rental rooms upstairs have a private entry front door. This is a working farm with trucks, tractors and farm tools.
We grow Noonday Onions.
We have 2 ponds and access to Lake Palestine. There are other rentals on our land. Guests are welcome to explore the property.

This is a working farm, so you will see trucks, tractors and farm equipment around. There are two large Labrador Retrievers that live outside and will probably bark when you arrive. If you’d prefer not to be greeted that way, we’re happy to put them up, but they will be on the property during your stay. There are also two large outdoor cats that seem to enjoy the company of strangers, and we expect that they’ll check you out.

The space is a recently remodeled farmhouse room with a private attached bathroom and a private code lock on the entry door. The library, front porch, and grounds are shared. There’s another room at the opposite end of the hall that uses the Hall bathroom.. If you’re interested in both, let us know!

We do live downstairs and are very active and busy on our farm and property. We will respect your privacy, but you will most likely see us around the property or in the yard.

City of Tyler is only a 15 -20 minute drive for all the restaurants, shopping and dining you might want! However our Neighborhood is a natural wooded property overlooking Lake Palestine. . It is a private setting, but there are conveniences close by. Brookshires grocery store is 1 mile away. The Villages Marina is 4 miles away. We do have other cabins on the property, but each is surrounded by woods and is very private! We strive to keep our wooded property as natural as possible to protect the precious Texas Ecosystem and to allow a natural habitat for our wildlife friends, and there are plenty to see if you watch for them!

We have remodeled our older Farmhouse with the intent of creating a clean, comfortable and accommodating space for our guests. We have completed all of the remodeling and everything works well, but we are keeping the interior authentic to the original farmhouse character. It may not be perfect, but we hope you’ll love the vibe! We do have two dogs and two cats who live on our property and have free range. They are very friendly, but if you have any fear of dogs or cats, please do not book this space. We have other rental options in our cabins!
